Ecolife Aquatech Sdn Bhd was established in 2005 with a clear mission: to raise prawns that are genuinely clean — no antibiotics, no preservatives, no shortcuts. From the outset, the company invested in understanding the biology of water and the role of beneficial bacteria in aquaculture, a foundation that would eventually become its proprietary Closed Biotech System.
Today, Ecolife operates two farms — one in Negeri Sembilan and one in Melaka — each running on the same rigorously controlled principles. Water quality is maintained not through chemicals, but through carefully cultivated beneficial pond bacteria that keep the environment crystal-clear and the prawns healthy. The result is a harvest that reaches retailers the same day it leaves the farm.
